The Role:

As sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with interior designers, architects, and specifiers, driving regional and national sales to meet targets. You will be expected to:

  • Build and maintain key relationships with high-end specifiers and architects
  • Focus on developing a strong project pipeline
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the showroom to achieve company objectives, targets, and goals
  • Win projects by engaging with top architects and interior designers
  • Set and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new specifiers
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions for product or project-related inquiries
  • Maintain CRM records for area contacts and projects
  • Use strong closing techniques to influence specifiers and architects and secure specifications
  • Raise awareness of full product portfolio by delivering presentations on the company and its offerings
  • Monitor market trends and share sales leads with relevant colleagues

The Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with architects and interior designers in Central London
  • Proven track record of selling premium/luxury design brands
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen
  • Direct experience in project sales, managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Experience reading architectural and construction drawings is a plus
  • Background in selling natural stone or wood design products is an advantage
  • Confident in presenting to customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with outstanding planning capabilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Team-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle Netsuite or similar systems
  • Flexibility in working arrangements
