Searching for a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales teams across the furniture and fashion sectors. This role’s primary focus will be on furniture, so the ideal candidate must have a background in the luxury furniture industry and a passion for working within a creative and ambitious environment.

Responsibilities:

Furniture and Objects:

  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to grow trade sales to architects, designers, and wholesale distributors.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer-centered sales experience, maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury brand.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, overseeing relevant sales and marketing initiatives, including store training and client appointments.
  • Use data and insights to guide commercial briefs for the design team, ensuring competitive and market-aware product development.
  • Manage product pricing, balancing margin maintenance with competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for wholesale partnerships.

Fashion:

  • Lead the sales team during wholesale markets, ensuring an on-brand showroom experience and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Support the wholesale client outreach strategy, identifying potential new partners and fostering existing relationships.
  • Analyze product performance and market trends, sharing insights with relevant teams.
  • Work closely with the design team to align collection plans with commercial goals.

General:

  • Manage and develop the sales team, ensuring performance aligns with business objectives.
  • Provide accurate budget reporting and forecasting.
  • Identify process improvements and create efficiencies within the sales function.
  • Build strong relationships with product development teams, offering commercial insights and support.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage profitability agreements and payment terms.

Key Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in the luxury furniture industry with a strong wholesale background.
  • Proven strategic planning abilities and experience increasing turnover in a high-end business.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with global market knowledge in fashion and furniture.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, sales CRM tools, and Excel.
