Project Manager

Opportunity to work with the best Design & Build Company in London (in our humble opinion) for commercial workplace and residential projects, based in the heart of Furniture Land. Responsible for full management of planning, coordination, and delivery of furniture Projects. Working alongside all internal stakeholders in the design team, external project teams and warehouse/installation partners to ensure smooth operations on site and delivery of projects on time and on budget to the highest standard. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills • High attention to detail • High level of organisation • Ability to prioritise and manage their time/resource • Ability to work well under pressure and to specific deadlines • 2+ years experience in Furniture industry • Proficient Excel Knowledge (Microsoft Office in General) • Passion for Interior Design/Furniture Design Planning for Project • Organise project hand-overs with internal teams and Project Consultants • Arrange and conduct detailed site surveys. • Keep on-site teams and project teams up to date on delivery dates and coordinate different trades with furniture installation. • Keep installation teams/RFS warehouse informed about all upcoming works and book in advance. • Keep the Internal CRM system up to date for accurate reporting • Ensure internal paperwork (Quotation) matches GA Span Plans. • Ensure suppliers provide correct paperwork (acknowledgements) in time, without errors, chase delivery dates and acknowledgement revisions • Liaise with on-site teams on setting out drawings, floor box positions and coordination between furniture and joinery • Brief installation teams by providing picklists and floor plans. • Monitor delivery and order confirmation inboxes daily and process incoming documents Communication • Internal to Tribe team members • Clients, contractors, and suppliers (all stakeholders involved in a project), other in-house teams (PMs, Technical Design, Site Managers, Project Directors) • Any other 3rd party stakeholders Installation • Maintain standards on site, managing install team, oversee works, assist with project team queries. • Attend site meetings to update on progress and review technical details of the product with drawing sign off • Be the main point of contact for client post handover where customer service is key and critical for success. • Record install outcome information such as any snagging, damages, incidents, client feedback, and supplier performance. Post Install • Ensure snagging is dealt with in a timely manner and as cost-effective as possible whilst communicating with all stakeholders. • Introduce Client Services post-delivery for any additional orders/client requirements. Shared Responsibilities • Ad-hoc tasks to assist the Tribe team as and when needed • Assist TWG office team with arranging install team with office related works/furniture moves • Assist other PM’s when resource allows (subject to management approval) 45k plus commission or open to having conversations around other salaries – always confidential 07903002361 james@collatefrom.com
