We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to oversee projects from initial scope through to completion, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client service. If you have a strong background in commercial furniture or design and build, along with a talent for managing multiple projects and building strong client relationships, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of client accounts, ensuring smooth coordination of services, orders, and project execution.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including contractors, A&D firms, and project managers, to drive successful outcomes.
Project & Sales Management
- Lead projects from scope development through to installation, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Manage sales forecasts, project pipelines, and client proposals, working closely with internal teams to develop accurate quotes and specifications.
- Identify and resolve project challenges proactively, ensuring both client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Conduct site visits, attend client and construction meetings, and oversee implementation to guarantee project success.
Team & Operational Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with designers, project managers, account coordinators, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage workload distribution within the team, ensuring internal and external resources are effectively utilized.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the commercial furniture industry, keeping up to date with workplace trends, product innovations, and best practices.
What You Bring
- 1-2+ years of experience in account management within a design and build company or a commercial furniture dealership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of contract furniture, including specification, project execution, and industry processes.
- Experience overseeing design, project management, and installation workflows.
- Knowledge of construction processes and the ability to interpret architectural plans.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
