Job Purpose
The Project Manager will oversee the order, delivery, and installation of projects as part of the Project Management (PM) department. This role ensures that projects run seamlessly, minimizing errors and managing snagging so that customers receive outstanding service. By delivering excellence, the company continues to build its reputation and contribute to its profitable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management Responsibilities
- Lead order, delivery, and installation for a set value of projects, providing an exceptional client experience through bespoke business software.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with key stakeholders.
- Ensure a smooth handover from the Account Management team for assigned projects.
- Define and confirm project requirements with clients, ensuring product suitability regarding certifications, fire ratings, and other specifications.
- Maintain the accuracy of orders, including cost and quantity revisions, and secure client sign-offs.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
- Track and process project finances, including monitoring budgets, managing PO/OC processes, and ensuring client payments align with delivery schedules.
- Communicate with clients, provide project updates, and manage PM-related documentation to maintain transparency and high service standards.
- Oversee the delivery process, including scheduling, import/export documentation, warehouse coordination, and storage inventory management.
- Supervise installations, including site surveys, RAMS assessments, on-site presence, and final walkthroughs with clients.
- Manage post-installation snagging and ensure a smooth handover of client relationships to the Account Management team.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to safeguard profitability.
- Contribute to lessons learned meetings and reporting.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Recognized qualifications in Project Management (preferred but not essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients and suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of numeracy and financial tracking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in learning new business software.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach.
- Positive attitude and passion for design and sustainability.
Key Job Details & Benefits
- Location: Clerkenwell office.
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break).
- Holidays: 25 days per annum (excluding bank holidays).
